A Note From the Owner – Frank Mumford

“I graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in business. I worked for four years in the home-improvement industry before starting SIR Home Improvements. Since my family didn’t have much money, I had to pay for college myself. I decided my best opportunity was through athletics. I walked on to the football team at Western Michigan University and became a starter earning a four-year scholarship. I believe the challenges in my early life and in college helped prepare me for the challenges I would face in business. I am a licensed builder. I have been a board member of my church for over 15 years. I have been the owner of SIR Home Improvements since its beginning in 1980.

My day-to-day position can be summed up in one word — ‘service.’ I believe I am here to help people at Sir Home Improvement grow and accomplish their personal goals and dreams. It is only through their growth that Sir home improvement has the opportunity to grow. I love my job because there is always something new and exciting to do every day! Our mission statement is “to offer the best value per dollar in order to fulfill our customers home-improvement dreams.” I feel that fulfilling dreams drives me.

I love spending time with my wife and six kids, working on church projects, playing golf and preparing other ways that I can help people in the second half of my life.”
